The Turnip Glassbreak is a security sensor that detects the sound of breaking glass and sends alarm signals to the security panel.

Installation

Install by mounting the sensor at least 3 feet (~1 m), but no more than 25 feet (~7.5m), from a window using the mounting screw locations or VHB tape. Ensure that the sensor has visual line-of-sight to all windows being protected.

LED blinks when the sensor detects breaking glass.

3M™ VHB™ Tape works great if the surface is properly prepared and firm pressure is applied for over 10 seconds.

Make sure to clean the surface before installing the sensors.
